Locking Valves Play An Important Role in Industrial Production

A locking valve is a valve device mainly composed of a valve body, valve core, valve stem, and locking mechanism. This valve device has reversing and locking functions, which can control the on/off of heating, water supply systems, and other systems one by one, and cannot be opened non destructively, thus achieving effective control.
The working principle of a locking valve is based on the valve's switching mechanism. When the locking valve is in the closed state, the valve core is tightly pressed against the valve seat by the top spring and pressure. At the same time, fix the valve stem to the valve cover through the locking nut on the top valve stem to avoid accidental operation of the valve core or external force that may cause the valve to open automatically. When the locking valve needs to be opened, the operator will loosen the top locking nut to release the fixation of the valve stem, and then move the valve cover and valve core upwards by rotating the valve stem to separate the valve core from the valve seat, thereby achieving the opening of the valve.
Locking valves play an important role in industrial production, controlling the flow of fluids in pipelines, achieving various functions such as flow regulation, pressure stability, and fluid cutoff. It is mainly used to control the flow of liquids and gases, ensure flow stability, prevent pipeline leakage and fluid mixing. In addition, the locking valve can also avoid intermittent vibration and noise caused by uneven pressure inside the pipeline.
There are multiple classification methods for locking valves, which can be divided into copper locking valves, plastic copper locking valves, cast iron locking valves, etc. according to material; According to structural characteristics, it can be divided into gate locking valves and ball valves; According to their functional characteristics, they can be divided into magnetic locking valves and electronic remote locking valves.
When using a locking valve, the following points should be noted:
Before use, each screw needs to be tightened to avoid media leakage issues in the future.
When transporting high-temperature fluids, it is important to tighten the screws in a timely manner, as high temperatures can reduce the pressure on the seals and may lead to leakage.
Do not tighten the pipeline under pressure to avoid damaging the sealing components.
When reinforcing the parts that need to be tightened, they should be kept horizontal and evenly applied to avoid damaging the components.
