Exhaust valve, also known as vent valve, air release valve, vacuum pump, etc., is a device used to discharge excess gas in pipelines. Its working principle is to achieve the emission and balance of gas or liquid in the system by controlling the opening and closing status of the valve, to ensure the safe operation of the system.
The exhaust valve is generally installed at the highest and lowest points in the pressure pipeline system to cut off the flow of the medium during pipeline maintenance and renovation. The exhaust valve can be divided into cut-off type exhaust shut-off valve and regulating type pressure reducing and throttling type exhaust shut-off valve according to their functions.
Exhaust valves are used in various systems, such as independent heating systems, centralized heating systems, heating boilers, central air conditioning, floor heating, and solar heating systems for pipeline exhaust. In these systems, due to the fact that water usually contains a certain amount of air, and the solubility of air decreases with increasing temperature, gas will gradually separate from the water during circulation, forming large bubbles or gas columns. The function of the exhaust valve is to timely eliminate these gases to ensure the normal operation of the system.
There are also many types of exhaust valves, including single port exhaust valves, double port exhaust valves, composite exhaust valves, high-speed exhaust valves, etc. Among them, a single port exhaust valve is mainly used for exhaust in various pipeline systems, while a double port exhaust valve is suitable for pipelines with water as the medium, as a device for removing gas from the pipeline. High speed exhaust valve is a more advanced exhaust valve that can continuously and rapidly discharge gas from pipelines.
Overall, exhaust valves play an important role in pipeline systems, effectively removing gases from the pipeline and ensuring the normal operation of the system.
